A resting electrocardiogram (ECG), also referred to as a 12-lead ECG, is a routine test that measures the electrical activity of your heart. During this examination, small leads are attached to your chest, arms and legs to record the rhythmic impulses that direct your heart's contraction. A resting ECG can help doctors in identifying a variety of
